Ron L. Hickman

Ron L. Hickman is President and Managing Director for Community Specialists.  Mr. Hickman oversees all management activities for the firm.  Formerly, he was Vice President of Operations with PM Realty Group overseeing the Midwest Division's approximately 16 million square feet of commercial and multi-family real estate.

Before joining PM Realty Group in 1987, Mr. Hickman was a Vice President and limited partner in LaSalle Partners whose duties included overseeing asset management activities on the West Coast and in the Midwest.  Mr. Hickman's background over his 25 year career has centered on representing owners' interests through effective and successful on-site management of commercial and multi-family real estate. 

Rosemarie Wert

Rosemarie Wert is Vice President and Director of Supervisors for Community Specialists.  In this capacity, Ms. Wert oversees the professionals and the on-site management of the condominium properties managed by Community Specialists.

Ms. Wert is a Certified Property Manager with 30 years residential management expertise in both rental and condominium properties.  In the past, as Assistant Vice President for the First Property Management Corporation, she developed and supervised the transition management teams for seven major condominium properties nationwide including Olympia Center, one of Chicago's most luxurious condominiums, and Four Lakes Village that included four individual associations and a master homeowner association. 

Ms. Wert is a Past President of the Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association of Illinois, and serves on the negotiating committees for the Local 25 and Local 1 Union contracts.  She recently received acknowledgement for her 25 year membership in the Institute of Real Estate Management.
